I am passionate about helping my clients discover their authentic selves, overcome challenges, and work toward becoming the people they want to be. Coming from a feminist, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive lens, I aim to help clients uncover meaning and purpose in their lives and explore the patterns that may leave
them feeling stuck. By understanding the “why” behind our decisions and how our past shapes us, we
can begin to unpack the heavy emotional pieces we carry, consider what to hold on to or let go of, and
ultimately find ways to feel lighter.
In my work, I take a person-centered and collaborative approach, tailoring therapy to each client’s
unique needs. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to
Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment-Based Theories, Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy,
and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). My goal is to create a foundation of trust and safety, offering an
environment where clients feel respected, cared for, and comfortable exploring their inner worlds.

In my therapeutic approach, I am keen to listen and learn from a genuine, compassionate, non-judgmental and culturally curious lens. As each of us comes from unique experiences, I feel that it is important that we feel heard and can express ourselves openly and collaboratively. This person-centred approach resonates with me, along with a strength-based emphasis on supporting one through life’s changes and challenges.
Other theories I draw from are Acceptance and Commitment Theory, Existentialism, and Gestalt perspectives. Within these theories, having a trauma-informed practice with a culturally sensitive, and social justice framework is very important to me. I plan to incorporate cognitive-behavioural, somatic, mindfulness-based and emotion-focused approaches in providing counselling interventions and remain curious to facilitate an empowering space for those to grow and express themselves.
